U.S. steel shipments in September increased by 21.3% year-on-year

On November 9, the American Iron and Steel Association announced that in September 2021, US steel shipments amounted to 8.085 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 21.3% and a month-on-month decrease of 3.8%.
   From January to September, US steel shipments were 70.739 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 17.0%.
   In addition, from January to September, the U.S. corrosion-resistant strip shipments increased by 19% year-on-year, cold-rolled strip shipments increased by 17% year-on-year, and hot-rolled strip shipments increased by 12% year-on-year
