Eurasian Economic Union continues to impose anti-dumping duties on Ukrainian steel pipes

On December 24, 2021, the Department of Internal Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2021/305/AD1R4, in accordance with Resolution No. 181 of December 21, 2021, to maintain Resolution No. 702 of 2011 on Ukrainian Steel Pipes 18.9 The anti-dumping duty of %~37.8% remains unchanged and is valid until December 20, 2026 (inclusive).

On January 31, 2006, in accordance with Resolution No. 824 of the Russian Federation, Russia began to impose anti-dumping duties on Ukrainian steel pipes. According to Resolution No. 702 of June 22, 2011, Russia maintains anti-dumping duties on the products involved in Ukraine at a rate of 18.9% to 37.8%. Pursuant to Resolution No. 48 of June 2, 2016, the Eurasian Economic Union maintained the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the Ukrainian case, valid until June 1, 2021, and at the same time repealed Resolution No. 133 of October 6, 2015, which involved Europe. Products under the tax codes of the Asian Economic Union ex 7304, ex 7305, and ex7306. On February 8, 2021, the Eurasian Economic Commission initiated an anti-dumping sunset review investigation against Ukrainian steel pipes. On November 9, 2021, the Department of Internal Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued the final ruling disclosure of the anti-dumping sunset review of Ukrainian steel pipes, suggesting to maintain the anti-dumping duties determined by Resolution 702 of 2011 unchanged.
