Upgraded efficiency of distributed photovoltaic installation with high adaptability, aluminum alloy clips become core components for small and medium-sized projects

With the continuous increase in the installed capacity of distributed photovoltaics (household+industrial and commercial roofs) in China by 2025, pain points such as “disorderly size of different brand solar panel frames and poor compatibility of installation accessories” and “easy rusting and rework of outdoor metal components” have gradually become obstacles to the landing of small and medium-sized projects. Recently, an aluminum alloy photovoltaic panel clip suitable for 35-50mm full specification frames has been mass-produced in a residential rooftop photovoltaic centralized project in over 200 households in East China. With a material combination of 6005-T5 anodized aluminum alloy body and SUS304 stainless steel bolts, the product not only covers 8 different brands of solar panel frames involved in the project, but also completely solves the problem of component corrosion in high salt spray environments along the local coast; Project data shows that the rework rate caused by mismatched borders has decreased from 15% to 0, and the installation time per household has also been reduced from 1 hour to within 40 minutes.

The “standardized+quick installation” design of this clip has become its core advantage in adapting to small and medium-sized projects: on the one hand, it is compatible with more than 90% of 35-50mm framed solar panels on the market, without the need for engineering companies to stock multiple types of accessories for different projects, directly reducing material inventory costs by 22%; On the other hand, its “buckle positioning+manual tightening” structure does not require heavy tools such as electric drills, and can be fixed by a single person. According to third-party testing data, the clip can maintain structural stability even in extreme temperature ranges of -35 ℃ to 70 ℃, withstand 13 level instantaneous winds, and adapt to the climate of most regions in China, such as severe cold in Northeast China and humid and hot in South China. The person in charge of a certain photovoltaic engineering service provider said, “In the past three months of project application, this clip has reduced our installation costs by 18% and the frequency of component replacement for later maintenance has also decreased by 70%.” Industry insiders believe that the popularization of such highly adaptable standardized accessories will further promote the lightweight and efficient implementation of distributed photovoltaics.
