Horizontal tie rod rotating nut: a new choice for bridge formwork construction

A new type of tie rod rotating nut has recently completed technical acceptance and been launched in bulk to address the pain points of difficult and inefficient tightening of tie rods in bridge formwork construction. This nut has optimized the rotating bite structure, built-in anti jamming ball components, and can be adapted to bridge specific tie rods of D10-D25 specifications. The fitting error on curved and irregular templates is controlled within 0.5mm, and smooth operation can still be achieved in low temperature environments (-15 ℃), with a 40% increase in installation efficiency compared to traditional nuts.

At present, this nut has been put into use in the formwork construction of two cross river bridges in the Yangtze River Delta region, with a cumulative supply of more than 8000 sets. According to feedback from the construction unit, its threads are treated with high-frequency quenching, with a turnover of over 50 times, which is nearly twice as long as ordinary nuts; With the use of a specialized wrench, the fastening time for a single tie rod has been reduced from 3 minutes to 45 seconds, directly shortening the construction period of the bridge formwork assembly process by 12 days. Market orders have been scheduled until the first quarter of next year.
