12mm template U-shaped clamp: a “small accessory” for cost reduction on construction sites

In the template construction process of a certain intercity railway, 12mm metal U-shaped clamps are being used in bulk instead of traditional fixed parts. Compared to old methods such as bolts and wires, this U-shaped clamp can complete template splicing and fixing without the need for auxiliary tools, reducing the time required for single operation to one-third of traditional processes. Additionally, due to its compatibility with 12mm standard template holes, it significantly reduces the process losses of on-site cutting and adjustment.

This U-shaped clamp made of galvanized steel material has a single unit cost of only 40% of the same function bolt, and can be reused over 200 times. It has helped reduce the formwork engineering cost of the railway project by about 12%. Its lightweight and easy to carry characteristics also make it more convenient for workers to work with high-altitude templates. Recently, three similar infrastructure projects have followed up on procurement.
